Waybound is a small team with a big problem to solve. We're looking for people who are curious, direct, and care about building things that actually work.
Open Roles
Own core product features end-to-end. We use Next.js, TypeScript, and Tailwind on the frontend, with Node and Postgres on the backend. You should be comfortable across the stack and opinionated about good code.
Build and maintain our integrations with Viator, GetYourGuide, Rentalcars.com, and other travel data providers. Experience with REST APIs, rate limiting, caching, and fault tolerance is a must.
Design the experience of planning and booking a trip. From search to checkout to the trip summary page — you'll own the entire flow. We care about craft: typography, spacing, and motion matter here.
Drive user acquisition and retention across SEO, paid, and email. You should know your way around analytics, be comfortable running experiments, and have strong opinions about what makes travel content worth reading.
Be the first person travelers talk to when something goes wrong. You'll handle support across chat and email, identify patterns in issues, and work directly with the product team to fix recurring problems.
Build relationships with property managers, experience operators, and travel brands. You'll negotiate deals, onboard new partners, and help expand the inventory that makes Waybound worth using.
